Rhinowash: Rhino One Industrial Pressure Washer

Rhinowash produce a range of industrial pressure washers in Scotland, to clean everything from buses to military equipment. They already had a reputation for a quality product and great service, but wanted to up their game another level with a more bespoke product.

The brief was to produce a custom enclosure, to accommodate their existing equipment. It had to be easy to initially install the equipment, and to maintain it over time. It also needed to withstand environmental demands of a corrosive chemicals and freezing temperatures. This needed to be packaged in a design that could be manufactured at a reasonable price and have an aesthetic that represented the brand.

I worked closely with the team at Rhino to produce the design, it was important to them that the design be modular, so that all parts can be easily maintained and replaced as needed. I then went on to work with the final manufacturer to produce a prototype and final design.

The product has now gone on to win awards, being the recipient of the prestigious Circular Economy Award, Winner for 2023.
